Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience - Schedule appointments and manage the dental office's calendar - Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients - Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims - Collect and record patient information, including medical history and insurance details - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality - Assist with billing and financial transactions - Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow - Perform general administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred - Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Epic, or eClinicalWorks - Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally and empathetically - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage appointments, records, and paperwork accurately - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy Note:
