Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other gauges to perform accurate measurements.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or non-conformities in the products.
- Document and report inspection results, including any deviations from specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality management systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with AAR regulations and current good manufacturing practices.
- Participate in internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Quality Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers.
- Understanding of quality management systems and processes.
- Knowledge of AAR regulations and ISO is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
